    30min of cardio enough?

Lately I have been doing 30min of cardio Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Is this enough to get me back in cardio shape? I'm in a cut right now and don't want to lose any muscle just fat. Is my time good or should I up it or lower it? Thanks guys.

What do you mean by "cardio shape"? 30 minutes of slow running, intervals...? More information needed.

When I first started I couldn't go for 5min without being out of breath. I want to be able to have great cardio. Ability to run/jog for extended periods without feeling like I'm going to die. Hope you know what I mean. But my workout consist of 5min warmup walk then 3 min of fast jog then 1min fast walk then 3min of fast jog. Alternates between the jog and fast walk till I hit 30min.

On my last cut I had a lot of success with interval training. I went to the hill up the street from me. (45 degree incline because I live on a volcanic island) Sprint all out up, walk down. Repeat for 20 minutes. You can watch the number of reps you can do in the set amount of time increase so that helps the motivation. Good luck.
