The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Goiter and weightlifting

Anyone got any experience in having a goiter? Just been diagnosed with one, booked in for a scan and consultation but not sure where I stand as far as lifting weights go. My necks swollen under my Adams apple and some exercises seem to cause discomfort particular round my collar bone. Obviously gonna ask this question to my GP when I see him but just wondering if anyone has any experience with these?

Thought I'd just continue on from this thread.

A month and a half after this thread I had my thyroid removed and now itching to get back to the weights.

Anyone with any experience of having one removed and going back to the gym? Have any problems? Have slight pain round my neck and collarbone but told its just scar tissue building up so think dips and shoulder exercises may be out for a while.

    Any comments is appreciated, thanks.
