need advice with deadlift before workout tonight

I read in a previous thread that when performing a deadlift, one should reset themselves at the beginning of every rep, the set should not be continuous. should i perform the set with no pauses or should i be momentarily pausing after each rep to regrip and perpare for another rep?.

also what are your guys thoughts on the mix grip?

    thanks everyone

Depends what you want. I hit the floor and go. I don't really stop. Some people stop and rest 1 second or so before going up again to re-grip, etc...my grip is strong, so I don't have too Depends on what you want to do, or what you want to accomplish. Want to better your singles? Do singles work. I do over/under grip. Works quite well.

Are you touching the floor or pausing a bit above it? On mixed grip, it doesn't really matter. Switch it up every so often. My strongest arm is under though, as you said.
