I notice when I do wide squats that my groin hurts like in the socket part when coming up also with sumo DL, but when I go shoulder width I dnt feel it. Anyone know what it is?
Weird thing too is once the weight gets over 200 pain goes away
its tight hip flexors. i'm the same way. Really helps to warm your hips up a lot and do some stretches. MY hips are so tight sometimes it takes me 20-30 minutes to warm up for squats

Do you have access to a sled? I used to have that problem but I drag the sled for 5-10min before squatting now and it's fine.
