The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    The new Pre-Workout Drink

    Man I love this stuff! I've tried it a couple times now and am really impressed.

    It definitely gives you a solid boost in energy and focus before you start training but what I really noticed is that it doesn't over do it. Sometimes you take stuff like that and it makes you jittery and weird for a short period of time and then there is a huge crash.

    I get up at 4:45 every wednsday to drive 2hrs (one way) down to Columbus for training. It's a struggle to get out of the car and wake up and be ready to train as hard as we need to. This stuff really kicks me into drive for max effort bench.

    You beat me to it!

    I couldn't agree more, this stuff is awesome! I also noticed that it doesn't have you feeling jittery, which is a good thing. It helps give you that extra boost to bust out a few more reps. And like you mentioned, it helps you stay more focused. This is exactly what I need since i'm deadlifting after I squat.

    I'd love to hear more about how this product works and how everyone who has tried it is taking it. I just ordered some because of the sale, figured if there was a time to try it it would be now.

    I don't drink coffee but I do drink green tea. Not sure what the caffeine content in green tea is, I drink it because it's the beverage that has no sugar in it that I can get hot out of the vending machines. It's also what I'm served when I am doing business. I don't need caffeine in the morning like many coffee drinkers out there do...so I'm just curious as to the jitters and sensitivity others have had (Or apparently lack having).

    Are you guys taking it every day or just before every workout?

    Two of the main ingredients help with strength endurance and permit greater training volume and promote recovery (and the 3rd also promotes recovery). That is the ergogenic component.

    @synonymous

    -I take it about 30-45 minutes before my workout and I only take it on training days.

    -It does everything the label says it does.

    Yeah I take it 30-45min pre workout as well.

    You won't feel a bit jolt, but honestly I don't like that. You'll feel a very strong steady increase in energy. This is clutch on days when I'm wore out.

    Chris just sent me some and Its great. I was using a pre-workout drink consisting of the exact same ingredients, minus the caffiene, doing each individual powder. This is so much more convienient and the added caffiene keeps me from having to drink my recular coffee before hand. Doesn't give me the jittery feeling and I like it. Great stuff!!
