I've recently hit some hard times. The emotional toll it's taking on me is definitely affecting my performance in the gym and in the kitchen (Lack of appetite...great for weight loss, but I fear LBM will be at the center). The issues at hand aren't going to go away in a few weeks or even a few months. I need a way to stay on top of my game.
What have you done in these situations? When you can't (Read: Don't want to) go to the gym, how do you handle lifting at home (Body-weight exercises?)? How about diet, how do you ensure you aren't causing yourself any damage physically or at least reducing the risk or loss of LBM?
The only thing I can think of is that this will be the time to cut. I've been trying to cut before but this time will be a bit easier diet wise. I just need to know how to handle the gym and staying active. It's a broad question and without specific details maybe a bit hard to answer but I'm open to any suggestions.
