Raw Unity Meet 7
This was my first meet I didn't cut weight and I must say, I loved it. I went into the meet less stressed and one focus, break PR's!!! lol
Not sure if anybody has heard, but let me say this, for one of the biggest raw meets in the United States with some of the biggest names in powerlifting, day one was so disorganized and it made a lot of lifters mad. I'm not going into detail, but I will say that sticking to the correct start times and setting up the flights like mentioned in the number of emails sent, isn't hard....enough said. Now, here's how my lifting went
All my warm-ups felt great for all 3 lifts. So I really can't say much, other then I got to warm-up with some of the best in the country. Grant Higa, Pete Rubish, Jordan Wong, Kade Weber, Shae Jones, BJ Whitehead, and Perry Ellis to name a few. So here is how my numbers went...
Added belt and SBD knee sleeves
1st attempt-622 good lift
2nd attempt-672 good lift 7lb PR
3rd attempt-700 good lift 35lb PR
Added 24" KLA wrist wraps

2nd attempt-435 good lift
3rd attempt-452good lift 12lb PR

Finished the day with an 1,874 total @ 275 wearing knee sleeves. This was also a 59lb total PR!!!!
Special thanks to everyone who supported me and helped me get ready for the meet, especially Brian Carroll. His programming and advice has helped me out tremendously. Also, to my sponsors, Chris Mason from AtLarge Nutrition, Ken Anderson from Anderson Powerlifting, Scott Lamb from Vanilla Gorilla, and Justin Cobb from New Dimensions Wellness & Education, Inc..
