    How do you train?

Just looking for some new Ideas for my training. I've done 5/3/1, Cube, and westside. What routine do you guys base your training off of?

What are you training for? How long have you been training and how long did you run each program?

I'm training for a meet in March. Been training for about 6 years. I ran westside for a year with my old training partner. 5/3/1 I ran for one cycle got hurt after a meet. I've done 2 cycles of cube. I like the cube but my bench has stalled. Squat and deadlift have gone up almost 50 pounds each. I was trying to get some ideas about things I could do to help my bench out.

If you are this close to a meet, completely switching programs would probably only have negative effects.

why not post up a video of your bench and see what we can do?

I'm with Travis, post up a form check and let him take a look at it, he's one of the strongest guys around for sure. On the cube, what accessories were you using to help bring up weak parts and increase the bench?

Vinny yea that sounds like a perfect routine to get me ready haha. I was doing pullups, shoulder press, and DB bench mainly. I do tricep work but for my raw strength I have trouble coming off my chest. About 2 inches of my chest I stall when I get to 365 at a commercial gym.

Did the speed work help when you were doing westside? I just made a return to speed work this year and my low end has come up a bit.

If you've made 50lb gains to your squat and deadlift, then I would stick to the cube. Just try and figure out why your bench isn't moving and make the changes.
