anyone have good results with standing cable crunches as far as carryover to powerlifting?
I do these weekly. Great ab work with out irritating my back. You can also use your squat and DL stance.

I think its great. IMO you will need to give it a couple of days, until you can feel the proper way to execute the crunch.
I do these on just about every lower body day.
I must be doing something wrong because I never really feel them in the gut. If I go higher than 40-50lbs on the weight stack I have difficulty using the abs and wind up leaning back to prevent getting pulled up.
They look simple, but is there something special you do to really activate the abs and hip flexors?
