Thread: i hate back day

    i really do. i can never get excited for back day , like legs or chest. as a result i usually have a really ****ty workout. any muscle group that you guys just hate to do?

    My favorite part to work is a toss up between back and shoulders, which is probably why they seem to be my strongest points. Legs is probably my least favorite and I can't explain why. They used to be my favorite and then out of nowhere i started dreading them. Hopefully, once my ankle is fully healed I can start loving them again.

    MAN I really dread back too.....But just bent over rows,Arrrggghhhh!!
    I always feel like I can hardly breathe & then the blood rushes to my head..whoa
    But I love doin' heavy shrugs !!!

    I always enjoy Biceps day, my biceps and forearms are very strong, so I always look forward to kinda showing off, hehe, I have allright leg muscles, but my partner can squat 50kgs more than me, so thats kinda sucky.

    By the way what is normal for a 16-17 year old boy to squat, just wondering, since my leg strength is not all that.

    i don't dread back day, i just hate it. i hate doing rows, i hate doing shrugs. damn i really hate it just talking about it.

    Rock, I don't know if I'm normal or not, but my best squat is 295 x 6 and dead is 345 x 6.

    I used to hate back but over the last few months I am loving it... I am progressing each week so its all good ..

    Well, the deadlifts sometimes I think for fuks sake not again !

    I didn't like back day until I introduced deads a couple of years ago. Get a good buzz of rowing too.

    I still hate pull up/downs though, just find progress real slow on these exercises.

    I used to hate back until I started doing deads. Besides the fact I seem to be able to keep making slow but steady progress on them there are only a few of us who do them at my gym and you definitly get everyones attention. Without deads I wouldn't be where I am right now so I got to love them. If you don't do them, start!

    I can only sqaut 120kgx5, but I get stronger everytime so I guess my legs will get strong someday.

    I hate training calves.
    ...it's more friendly for trainers to say, "yeah, we can help you tone up!" rather than saying, "yeah, we can help you get rid of that fat ass!"

    I love back day. A big back makes a bodybuilder.

    I personally dislike squats. Obviously because I suck at them and my hips are all sorts of messed up.

    I dislike my 3rd set of deadlifts. Hehe my first 2 sets I am okay with.. but that 3rd set just f*cks me up.
