    What to eat to lose fat?

    My aim is to lose some fat. I avoid eating all the fatty foods but I read somewhere that when you don't eat any fat, your body holds onto the fat it has so you don't lose any fat that way. Is it true?

    And what kind of diet is most efficient for losing fat?

    I use a low carb diet. It's good to limit the amount of saturated fat in your diet, but you ultimately want poly- and monounsaturated fats as part of a good daily diet. Moderate amounts of fat w/ low carbs and moderate/high protein and should shed some fat.

    But, if anything, eat below maintenance and you'll lose weight. Eat clean too.
