The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    What's doin' Shocker?

I've been thinking about the beach heaps myself lately, can't wait for summer. I'm actaully swapping to working nights for a while, 6 pm to 2 am, so I'll be down there all the time, can't wait! Might get a bloody tan going!!

As regards losing fat, well it's happening already, slowly but surely. As I've said, I'm not dieting or taking any suppliments to lose weight, just letting all the additional training I'm doing look after it.

Other than that all is well, catch you soon Mate, have a great weekend.

i stopped drinking beer already, at least I only have one or two then quit.

here are my latest crappy lifts for shoulders and arms -
mebe I should get some pics eventually but in the meantime,
what do you think of these lifts for my size ?

    - 78-80kg, 10%BF @ 176cms (5"9-10)
age - 26 yrs (just turned)
    quads - 23"

    lateral raise - (40kgx8)(45kgx5)
    incline skull crush - (35kgx8)(35kgx6)
then I fukced up on some rope pulldowns and went to do some db prench press w 40kg DB instead but couldn't because of that other wank exercise
ez bar bicep curl - (40kgx8)(45kgx6)
    hammer curl - (20kgx5)(20kgx5)
hanging leg raises knees to chest 15x2 0kg weight because the bar is too close to the floor !!! usually use 12.5kg for 10
45 degree incline situps - 10kg plate to forehead 12 reps 2 sets
side bends - 30kg DB either side for 12 reps and 2 sets

Thanks a lot for the support man. My measurements are all in my signature. Along with how long I have been training, etc. Yeah that sucks man pics are really the way to go. Good way to get a good idea of your physique etc. I mean measurements mean something too but you could have no definition at all - do you understand what I am saying?

They're good lifts Shocker, keep it up.

You've actually got very similar measurments to be, except I'm about an inch shorter in height.

    here it is -

    squats - 80kg 20 reps
*i realised the importance of strong stabilising muscles when i began to sort of "hula" slightly closer to 20
    leg press - 200 kg x 20
    leg extension - 50kg x 12
    leg curls - (70somethingsx8)(75somethingx6)
    SLDLS - (90kgx8)(90kgx8)
leg press calf raise - (250kgx12)(250kgx12)(250kgx15)(250kgx8)

abs the usual and i'm building them big

had my shoes off for the squATs cause i feel that it helps me to push through the heel and this pansy gym staff asked me to put them back on immediately. I do after the set anyway, i hate this curl jockey gym, but i am locked in a contract, damnation!

thassright, but it isn't them, this is Living Well in North Sydney near my work. I let my Fitness First membership expire and will be returning to a single gym membership for a while.

the BJ fitness first is OK, but could do with more plates, the DB go heavy and they have some decent chin bars and platforms etc.

this other one sucks tho -
mebe i should join down the surf club with you KB, what do ya reckon?
    do people deadlift there?

anyway, i am going to do some cardio believe it ornot.
this isn't for my fat, it's for my face, the stress is showing and i want to sweat it out.
    damn all that binge drinking!

we'll break their backs, so to speak
you a sharks supporter, McBain? - they're a good team despite them being a bit poofy. I hope the Dragons do a 2001 season Newcastle effort and win - another Broncos/Dragons finals showdown perhaps. Pity that Dragons dont have any Aborigninals playing for them at the moment - let's get Mundine and Blacklock backi for 2003 !
