Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    More than enough water?
Check out that link. It says that people are getting more than enough water when they drink 8 glasses a day. This does not include weight trainers does it?

dietry drinks such as slimfast and ultraslim also say your geting enough calories when consuming 2 shakes with 1 meal a day..

a few quotes from the article i found amusing..
"The rest can just drink enough to slake thirst -- and this includes coffee, tea, and even beer -- despite their diuretic effects, Valtin said."

beer is as good as water? lol
for me to drink enough to slake thirst, id have to drink 2-3lt of water min, if i drink less than 2 in a day, my throat gets dry at night n i cant sleep..

"Then there is the inconvenience of constant urination, the embarrassment of having to go to the bathroom all the time," he added. "
    pee`in every hour is cool!

"And overdoses of water can cause water intoxication that can lead to confusion and even death. Water intoxication is one deadly effect of taking the drug Ecstasy, for instance, because it makes people thirsty beyond their physical needs."

there comparing water with ecstacy? neva heard of anybody dying from drinkin water, but you hear ppl who get lost in the bush and die from not geting enough water..
For every $1 you donate to the "buy Lude more weight plates foundation", you will help add 1kg to my 1RM.

I feel about a gallon a day is good for me, maybe a bit more.
"It is often said, mainly by the "no-contests", that although there is no positive evidence for the existence of God, nor is there evidence against his existence. So it is best to keep an open mind and be agnostic. At first sight that seems an unassailable position, at least in the weak sense of Pascal's wager. But on second thought it seems a cop-out, because the same could be said of Father Christmas and tooth fairies. There may be fairies at the bottom of the garden. There is no evidence for it, but you can't prove that there aren't any, so shouldn't we be agnostic with respect to fairies?"

    Richard Dawkins

"Out of all of the sects in the world, we notice an uncanny coincidence: the overwhelming majority just happen to choose the one that their parents belong to. Not the sect that has the best evidence in its favour, the best miracles, the best moral code, the best cathedral, the best stained glass, the best music: when it comes to choosing from the smorgasbord of available religions, their potential virtues seem to count for nothing, compared to the matter of heredity. This is an unmistakable fact; nobody could seriously deny it. Yet people with full knowledge of the arbitrary nature of this heredity, somehow manage to go on believing in their religion, often with such fanaticism that they are prepared to murder people who follow a different one."

    Richard Dawkins

"Bah. You know I hate poor people."

actually, you can die from drinking too much water. It happened to a couple of people at Ft. Jackson. You need a certain amount of sodium and electrolytes in your system. We were basically forced to drink a quart an hour so we had to drink this salty knockoff of PowerAde to replenish Sodium and electrolytes with each meal.
