The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Will it become more accepted ?

Will the mass monsters continue to get bigger and bigger, or will we go back to the days of more symmetrical bbers

Will there be any new breakthroughs in physiology?

I think that it will go back to the more symmetrical look. The mass monsters like coleman, ruhl, etc. aren't going to appeal to most upcoming bodybuilders, especially if they start knocking off in the next 10-15 years cause their hearts explode from the large quantities of gear they shoot in their bodies.

Don't worry Fran, I'm sure the judges won't mark you down because you only come up to the knees of your competitors

I don't think that there's any chance of the competitors getting smaller. Maybe symmetry will come into play more as we hit the upper levels of freakiness, but you never know. I just can't see the judges liking smaller physiques. The money is in the freaks, they know it, we all know it. I don't know what's going to happen in the next few years. It's possible someone will intervene and change some things, but I doubt it. I think it will just grow like it has been.

I think new drugs and technologie will have a play into this. If drugs allows mass monsters to not lose their symmetry by exploding their bellie and other side effects.. who knows what we might end up with, on the other hand, mass monster could also become more massive than they currently are.

I think they will just keep getting bigger. At the rate physical fitness is going, there should be ALOT of major breakthroughs in the next 20-30 years.

    Just my opinion =)

I think that in the near furute size is going to increase with just as much emphasis on symetry as there is now, but further down the road symetry will play more of a part. I also agree with sinep, in that technology and new drugs will play a big role in the future.

I think that bodybuilders overall size will go back down, because looking at the guys that are the top NPC competitors, they don't look nearly as big as the guys in the IFBB, but unless they pull a Ronnie Coleman and get huge within their years of being pro, then I think most bodybuilders won't be as big as the top guys in the pros now.
It takes TIME + PATIENCE to make gains.
