I need some help with my legs. I play hockey and tonight i got leg pump so bad i had to sit out for about 20 mins to let the pump go down. I just got back into lifting and have been taking creatine. The muscle that runs down the outside of your shin bone is the only muscle that i am having a problem with. Should i stop lifting while skating? or should i stop taking creatine? Would the creatine make my legs pump up or is it something else. Dam it hurts!!!!
creatine helps to buffer lactic acid, if anything it would help...
the leg pump is a good thing, but if it is causing alot of fatigue then it might be a good idea to cut back on working out. that muscle you mentioned about being sore is key in hockey, it will be like a rock after awhile, only hockey players have that muscle. how long have you been playing for?
sorry i dont have alot of advice for you but what about your coach, he might

my goals: gain weight and muscle mass
I have been playing hockey for about 4 yrs. The problem i am having only happens once in awhile. I know that when it starts to get pumped up, im done playing for about 20 mins to let the pump go down. I started taking creatine about 2weeks ago and before that i didnt get the leg pump, so thats why i asked about creatine. Thanks guys for your input. Mataz
