The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Odd Bruising.

Alright people i really need some brainstorming thoughts here please.

I've experienced this twice before in the last few years. What happens, is i seem to bruise VERY easily on my lower extremities only. The bruises will occur after nothing major has happened such as bumping into something or being hit etc.

Things that I noticed to be incommon during these times were this:
-increased amounts of certain vitamins, mainly vit C
    -stricter dieting
(I'm somewhat leaning towards this having to be diet related wether it's a lack of or too much of I'm not sure)

It just seems odd that it's always just in my legs. The one on my outer lower thigh seems to have come from just carrying my gym bag and how it'll bounce into my leg as I walk (which seems rather odd seeing as it is not full of rocks or anything). Then I seem to have been just scrathing my one hip area because it 's been itchy due to increased tanning lately and the scrathing seems to have bruised now as well.

    Any got some thoughts here?

I would get some blood work done. there are many reasons why that could be happening. vitamin deficiencies resulting from dieting could be the case if you are normally healthy.

You might look at how much vit E you're taking- too much can cause bruising tendencies. Taking any herbal supplements?

Thanks peeps for the ideas. I have stopped bruising actually this last week but I also had a chat with the new trainer about it and he'd said that in females it was something he'd come across b4. It could have been tied into a chemical change in my body and hormonally related as well. But it's stopped now so I'm not concerned. If it occurs again I will mention it to my doctor though just in case.

No added vitamin E Delphi, other than what's in my multi.
And as for herbal supps, no, I even got off of ephedrine cold turkey after being slightly addicted.

vit c should help with bruising - since it is a vital component to collagen
it might only be in the lower parts due to restricted circulation - but i also strongly believe it is diet related
u might also try iron supplements too
