I am new to this forum although i did read the post for about 3 months. I am looking to start an HST routine when school starts on September 3rd. Please tell me what you think:

Bench press-2-sets
Dips-2
Tri extension-1
Pull-up-2
One are dumbell rows-2
barbell curl-1
shrugs-2

I am only doing upper body now because i am doing a special leg routine for my vertical jump. Also are the negative phase in the HST routine important because i wanted to do some Olympic lifts for two weeks after 3 cycles.
