    Overtraing lower back.

    Do you guys think doing a couple or few sets of stdl's on monday along with squats and doing standard deadlifts with back on thurdsay is too much?

    maybe. does it feel like too much?

    SLDLs are more of a glute/hamstring exercise as opposed to low back anyway, no? Spinal erectors are a stabilizer

    how many sets and how much intensity you train with really.
    my exprience - joined gym 10 years ago, 6 1/2 years hard weight training exprience.

    shoulders and back are easy to overtain from what ive read.

    Like body said, it depends on how much intensity and volume you train with. But unless you are really going at it that doesn't seem like what you are doing should be too much for the lower back.
