Indeed. Everything will be taken very slow getting back into things. I don't want any injuries/excuses this time.

    Day 2 of 30

    Training:
    none
    Full Body weights tomorrow

    Diet:

    http://www.fitday.com/fitness/Public...Month=8&Day=29

Was doing good until I had the f'in corn. Stupid.

    Thoughts:
Hunger doesn't seem to be bothering me as much today as it did yesterday. Also weird is my energy level seems to be better. I would usually be falling asleep on the couch around 8:30-9:00pm at night, last night I was wide awake and feeling good.
Energy levels were good all day today, no lethargy. Granted it's only day 2, but I was expecting a lot worse.

    Day 3 of 30

    Training:
    Upper

    Flat Press- 8x185, 6x185, 5x185
    DB Rows- 45'sx10, 60'sx19, 60'sx10
    Incline DB Press- 8X60's, 6x60's, 5x60's
    DB Hammer Rows- 45'sx10x2
    Pressdowns- 50x10x2

    Diet:

    http://www.fitday.com/fitness/Public...Month=8&Day=30

Not ideal. Still working it out. I just sprang the diet on Heather this past Monday, so I have to make due with what's already in the house. Grocery shopping tomorrow, so I'll be able to dial it in.
One more hurdle is going to be this Sunday. Going over to mom's to celebrate my birthday, so I know I'm going to go above and beyond my scheduled re-feed, I know lasagna, steak tips, and other good stuff will be eaten, but I'll try to keep in decent.

    Thoughts:
    Weak? Beyond.
I got to thinking about it, and it has really been about 6 years since I have done any serious/steady lifting, so I suppose the strength loss is to be expected. I am literally starting off weaker and in worse shape than I have ever been, even when first starting out back in the day. It's going to be a long journey!

    Coffee? Check.
Nicotine? I'll see about picking up some gum.
Self Respect? Working on that one too. It has diminished along with everything else over the years.

    Day 5 of 30

    Training:
    None

    Diet:

    http://www.fitday.com/fitness/Public...&Month=9&Day=2

    M1: 4 eggs (3 whites), 3 scoops Nitrean, 4 fish oil caps

    M2: 1 package spinach, 4 oz lean steak, 3 FOC's

M3: 2.5 cups salad, 1 large chicken breast, 2 tbs balsamic basil dressing, 3 FOC's, 1 mini cupcake

    2 shots Grey Goose

    Thoughts:
My baby girl brought me a little mini cupcake with a candle in it after I finished my salad. I couldn't say no to her. The diet has been pretty good all week, so I don't feel too bad for having a mini cupcake for my b-day.

Well, well, well...look who found his way back to WBB.

I won't get into details on the extended haitus, but suffice to say I've never been so broken and defeated as I have in this past year. Those that know me know what I am talking about. That said, I am slowly getting better and I am ready to get back into this healthy lifestyle thing. I will be putting together my training program and diet this weekend and starting fresh on Monday. I am mainly here to be held accountable and to catch up with some old friends, if any of y'all are still here. Until Monday.......

    Welcome back Justin.

In my experience, being broken and defeated gives you the opportunity to start over again with more appreciation for who you are and what you're doing.

It's good to have you back.
