    I know alot of people (some on this board) that work out body parts more than once a week. (myself included) I just space a couple days in between workouts for recoup....so your set up looks ok to me.

    That's the problem. When you start working body parts more than once a week you end up having a difficult time getting your routine the way you want it.

    My general observations are that folks that work bodyparts more than once a week....usually chest and biceps for folks that do it, they end up neglecting other body parts or completely not working them at all.

    Either that or they have to live in the gym...and have no time for recovery.

    I do a 3day split over 4 days... then repeat after 2 weeks..ie:

    Week1:
    monday - chest/tris
    tuesday - legs/shoulders
    wednesday - off
    thursday - guns/back
    friday - chest/tris
    weekend - off

    Week2:
    monday - guns/back
    tuesday - legs/shoulders
    wednesday - off
    thursday - chest/tris
    friday - guns/back
    weekend - off

    Then repeat.

    5 times a week is just too much for me, and fitting everything in twice a week over 4 days a week is too much also.
    This way, every 2nd week I work the either guns/back or chest/tris twice a week.

    This has also shortened my workout time, thus allowing better recovery and more time to do cardio at the end of a workout.

    Works for me, although I might give HST a go in the future.

    I do
    wednesday: chest/tris/abs

    friday: back/bis

    sunday: chest/ legs / shoulders

    I do 2 full body workouts a week, but since I've just started back to training it isn't bad and I can handle the volume.

    I'm working out same parts 2 times a week, but then again I'm juicing like a horse.
