I usually see a standard bench press at the gym about say 12 inches off the floor and then I see a bench the like 6 inches off the floor.
Why the difference?
for midgets? and maybe for people who wanna put wait on it and curl then put it down easier if they don't wanna use the bench....

Flat BB Bench 270
Deadlift 355 (no belt/straps)
Some people's legs are longer than others is one reason I can think of. I'm pretty short, and using my bro's bench, I can barely flatten out my feet.
