    Is the bike a good method???

    for cardio??? or should I just stick to running??? Running is just really boring to me, but is it better then sitting on a bike?

    If biking and running are done at about the same intensity, running will burn more calories. That said, whatever you are going to stick with and do regularly is better.

    I do bike because of my bike I can't really run, yet. Bike works good for me. You just need to pedal hard for 20 minutes straight and it will work fine.

    I bike like a mad man, mainly cause I get super bored running, and I can watch TV when I bike :-) I agree with nate though, running at the same intensity has been shown to burn more, but its also been shown to cause brain cramps due to sheer boredom

    Ever try DDR? Dance Dance Revolution-- it's that dancing game in the arcades. That is my cardio. Tons of fun and u burn more calories doing it then running or biking and it is amazing for ur calves. It is very hard at first but after playing everyday for like a week, u get alot better... i am telling u, try this game, i have actually bought the home version for playstation and use it as my weekly cardio, but i find myself playing it on off days too
