    Every body on here wants to be big right?
    But what is big to you?
    I made this poll to see what people class as big on these boards

    you got my vote. 250.
    "It is often said, mainly by the "no-contests", that although there is no positive evidence for the existence of God, nor is there evidence against his existence. So it is best to keep an open mind and be agnostic. At first sight that seems an unassailable position, at least in the weak sense of Pascal's wager. But on second thought it seems a cop-out, because the same could be said of Father Christmas and tooth fairies. There may be fairies at the bottom of the garden. There is no evidence for it, but you can't prove that there aren't any, so shouldn't we be agnostic with respect to fairies?"

    Richard Dawkins

    "Out of all of the sects in the world, we notice an uncanny coincidence: the overwhelming majority just happen to choose the one that their parents belong to. Not the sect that has the best evidence in its favour, the best miracles, the best moral code, the best cathedral, the best stained glass, the best music: when it comes to choosing from the smorgasbord of available religions, their potential virtues seem to count for nothing, compared to the matter of heredity. This is an unmistakable fact; nobody could seriously deny it. Yet people with full knowledge of the arbitrary nature of this heredity, somehow manage to go on believing in their religion, often with such fanaticism that they are prepared to murder people who follow a different one."

    215 @ 10% is big. Not huge, but big. I'd say anyone that's 190+ @ 10% is big, compared to the average person, but not in the bodybuilders mind. Huge would be anything over 240 @ 10%, imo.

    There is no mention of height. Someone could be big to me at 150lbs - if they were as tall as Vern Troyer!

    Otherwise, 5'10" and around 10%bf, I would say 230lbs is big. Any heavier moves into "huge" territory

    I'd be happy to be at the same weight I am now (around 185), but at 9 or 10% BF

    being big is relavant to the persons height. someone who is 5'7 @ 180 and 8% would be pretty big andbuilt. While the same stats on another at 6'4 would make the guy still a twig...

    Personally I'm more into symmetry than mass. But I will be happy when I'm 245 @ 8% next year...

    well I am somewhere near the 5'9, 170lbs @ 13% bf, I feel quite big compared to the avg. person, so I guess that @ 185 with a little lower bodyfat I'll be really big, prolly one of the biggest guys in my school.

    I guess age plays somekind of a role here too because fully-mature persons usually weight much more than teens.

    Well, the average male is what, 5'9" and 170lbs or something like that?

    I'd say 250+ is pretty big, regardless of bf%. That's about 1.5 times more massive in bodyweight than the average person. Now having that mass at single digit bodyfat would be bloody impressive and would look a lot nicer. But even a 250-lb fatass is pretty big in general terms.

    I would say at my height 5"9.5 I would say 235 -240 would be big or huge...either or. Especially @ a low bf%. This is what I want to be.

    your = yours. possesive.

    you're = you are.

    my big what?
    Squats work better than supplements.
    "You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei

    big, or fat? Either way, I can hop on the scale and tell you how I define BOTH

    I have to agree with craig james.......no mention of height.
    Myself I am 5'5''/172lbs
    People say I look huge but I feel I don't.

    This question depends if you are talking about a man or a woman. I voted under 200 lbs. I am 163 and think I am big...but if I was a man or talking about a man I would have voted differently.

    With height taken into account I would say that 180 lbs. around 10% is a pretty big guy. 190-195 lbs. is also fairly big compared to most people. 205-215 lbs. is large to me. A guy whos a lean 215 lbs. is a big f*cking guy. 225-235 lbs. and lean is just massive hehe.
