The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

A question for Canadians regarding rap

Ya, that was a lame thread title, oh well. Anyways, what do you guys think of Swollen Memebers? I'm not a big fan of rap music, but I really like these guys. What about the rest of you Canadians? I don't think they have had any exposure to the US yet? I don't think they are that big in eastern Canada either?
"It is often said, mainly by the "no-contests", that although there is no positive evidence for the existence of God, nor is there evidence against his existence. So it is best to keep an open mind and be agnostic. At first sight that seems an unassailable position, at least in the weak sense of Pascal's wager. But on second thought it seems a cop-out, because the same could be said of Father Christmas and tooth fairies. There may be fairies at the bottom of the garden. There is no evidence for it, but you can't prove that there aren't any, so shouldn't we be agnostic with respect to fairies?"

    Richard Dawkins

"Out of all of the sects in the world, we notice an uncanny coincidence: the overwhelming majority just happen to choose the one that their parents belong to. Not the sect that has the best evidence in its favour, the best miracles, the best moral code, the best cathedral, the best stained glass, the best music: when it comes to choosing from the smorgasbord of available religions, their potential virtues seem to count for nothing, compared to the matter of heredity. This is an unmistakable fact; nobody could seriously deny it. Yet people with full knowledge of the arbitrary nature of this heredity, somehow manage to go on believing in their religion, often with such fanaticism that they are prepared to murder people who follow a different one."

Pfft! Now I get to design a whole bunch of specialized hand components, like flame-throwers, a tooth brush attachment, or brie knife. And you can bet your bottom dollar there will be a tina's ass pinching attachment as well...constructed from space-aged tomahawk-proof material. :evillaugh

Ep why do you think they've sold out. I can't see how you think that. Since they own there own record lable it's not like they are kissing anybody's ass nonstop.

I really like them but I can understand why some people might like them. In my opinion they are kind of one dimensional. Like even though I might like there music more than the big guns of rap they don't have the mc skills of them.

Snow is horrid. lol. Some people think Swollen Members sold out cause I think they used to be underground, but now they are mainstream? But that's not the point. I think they are one of the better Canadian rappers. Alot better than the rappers that have come out of Quebec. Lol, rapping in french is funny.

As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

Haha...I only said they sold out to mock tryska. They're ok...one of the band members gave me a free cd once, but I lost it...so I haven't heard anything other than the couple songs they have videos for. That first video they had wasn't bad, but the lyrics weren't all that great...liked the tune though.

I think the three songs they've written are fairly enjoyable.

They have the standard "two mc" song (e.g. "Lady Vemon"),

The "old skool" song (e.g. "Take it Back")

The "Moka Only sings harmony" song (e.g. "Fuel Injected")

There's promise there, but they have to break out of the formula. I have one album and can't see a reason to buy more.
