    bulk or cut?

    hi, back in high school i worked out for a while through the years and i have stoped for like a year. Now i am going to start back again and ive been wondering if i should cut or bulk as of rite now. i am 208 lbs, 5'10", about 20-23% body fat. Can anyone give me some advice if i should cut or bulk first? and why? thank you.

    Cut as your body fat is too high to begin bulking. The leaner you are wehn you start bulking the leaner you will stay.

    Get down to about 12% bf and then bulk IMO.

    I have to vote cut. Your bodyfat is too high. 208 on 5'10" frame is already getting on up there, and if your bodfat is too high, bulking sure want help you much.

    just wondering, what does 20% bf look like? i dont have any money to get a bf test, so I need some kind of guide to see what % look like what

    hehe. it's seriously the way to do it. Whist manipulating carbs. If you getting too fat .... cut back on carbs. If you tired and have little energy .... up carbs. Simple. All about finding that optimal.

    If you cut down now, you might even realize your happy with the muscle you already have. So I would say cut down now and then see where you want to take it from there.

    i'm 200lb at 6'1, bf? no idea..

    frankly - i don't really care. i'm bulking up as much as I can, and don't really care if my bf is 20%..

    but that's just me.

    you gonna lose muscle when you cut too. Think about that. It's best to get a good solid base of muscle first ...... otherwise you'll cut to nothing. Feed da machine bro.
