if you mean land animals, I believe it's caribou

if you include water animals, it's probably gray whales although I understand that the elephant seals migrate quite a distance as well (Aleutians to Baha?)

a lot depends on how you're defining 'animal', I guess

If you mean migration as it's defined, prolly whales.

Whales are mammals, not fish. And I dont count humans as animals. Its pretty unfair to the animals, I mean, we've got Jeeps and planes and sweatshirts and ****.

I'd say it would have to be the whale, I mean there's how much more water than land? Plus Water is 3-d. Its f00kin deep, AND has great linear span.

Then again, the animal with the greatest migratory range probably is on the bottom of the sea and we've never even seen it before, and it feeds on other animals we've never seen before. It fears only light and is an unstoppable killing maching with a penchant for destruction and adult movies.

Correct. Each year these foot long birds with pointed wings fly about 22,000 miles from the arctic to the antarctic and back. Their over-ocean commute takes six months.

it's not the arctic tern anymore, a different bird, a type of gull, I forget which kind was tracked as having travelled longer. Species wise the Arctic Tern probably travels more, but one specific of this type of gull did beat it

Are you sure its not the painted turtle? They're so stealthy and agile, its no wonder they're the top of the food chain. Hell, my friend even saw one kill a ninja
