    I suppose it is, indirectly. Massage will decrease your recovery time after weightlifting bouts, and will also aid after cardio workouts, helping to prevent injury and helping recovery time there as well. So I suppose if it allows you to weightlift more often, and do cardio more often, and also keep you coming back for months, instead of quitting due to soreness or some ailment, then yes, it will help keep you fit.

    yah, definetly aids recovery time. The weekends I go home and get a good deep backrub from my girlfriend, my deadlift jumps the following weeks, as well as my other back exercises, just feels sooo much better.
