    floor press

    What is the correct way to do this exercise?

    Step 1, Barbell on floor.

    Step 2, put weight on Barbell

    Step 3, get under barbell like you are going to bench

    Step 4, push weight against earths gravational pull

    Step 5, allow gravity to do it's thing and lower the weight back to the floor.

    Step 6, do steps 4 and 5 until you feel you have done it enough times.

    Step 7, do steps 1,2 and 3 in the reverse order.

    That's it, hopefully I did not confuse you along the way

    it is on the westside routine i know you use a barbell and its for the triceps

    I think you mean middle to top portion.

    well, it sorta matters how long the persons arms are. For me the bar is 1/2" from my chest when i do floor's so its all bottom strneth. My friends pretty much the same way.

    Estropes- you can get under the bar and press it up when it is on the floor? Are you some type of contortionist??

    Have the bar on a rack and take it off like a normal bench press.

    Dude with 45's on you can get under the bar with ease.
