Hey there, new to the forum, got a question, anything I can do for joint pain, the only time I have it is when I am doing nose breakers for tri's, love the exercise and stretch to no ends, but a day after my joints are sore for about 5 days. I go up to 135 with cambered bar for 12-15 reps. Any CONSTRUCTIVE critisism is appreciated. Thanks

I had that problem in my right arm with the tendon at the inside base of the tricep just above my elbow with the exact same exercise. Here is what I was told to do and I do not get that pain anymore and have been able to get a lot stronger in that exercise since.
First of all, stop doing them (for now). Replace them with dips and maybe overhead extensions on an incline bench. Then I was told to do Rotator Cuff Exercises (I still don't know exactly why) and start taking glutamine & creatine(I used SciTech's Myomax). I did that for 6 weeks and hadn't felt that pain since.
You said it was joint pain--which could indicate something more severe(bursitis, arthritis...) but typically the pain would not be restricted to just when you perform lying tri Xtn's. Try to figure out exactly where & what (tendonitis, fluid, etc.)that pain is and listen to your body.

My elbow and forearms use to hurt like a mofo when doing skull crushers, even with only 135. Now I do them at about a 65 deg incline and use the middle grip, as opposed t the inside grip. I can whack out 10 reps with 165-185 lbs now without any pain.... It's also easier to stay steady for me...

I will, I'm a little, (hehe little) pudgy right now. I'll be a decent BF again in about 2-3 months. I just made sure my math was correct, I do 1 45 and 1 35 on each side of a curl bar, that's 185, right? Like it said, it's easier to do on an incline then on a flat bench.....I do have strong tri's also though.
