sounds like an allergic reaction, esp. since it itches.

my friend suggested its blisters, but i really doubt it.

i considered the allergic reaction, but from what ??

if i had the spots all over the body yes i'd also consider chickenpox.. but only my palms.

dust? i have been sanding/working with a lot of balsa (really soft wood) lately... i guess that could be it..

that may be it. ectx is right tho..you can get allergic reactions on just your hands if it's just your hands that get exposed to something. i'll go with non-specific dermatitis from the woodworking tho.

Seriously though, is the skin on your palms dry or cracking? Candida (yeast, fungus, athlete's foot, jock itch, whatever) causes areas that itch or burn. The skin can be red, depending on the area of the body involved (Thick calloused skin is less like to get red, but thinner skin like in the groin creases can). You might try putting some Lamisil on the areas to see if they go away. Otherwise...

LOL at the golden rules of dermatology.

my palms are only cracking and peeling at the contact points of the CoC handle.

    Thanks for all the help.
