Hopefully this will spark something in me to get my ass in gear. I feel that I've started slipping and I don't like that. I'm going to start posting my diet too but at the moment its too embarassing.
At the moment my workouts are structured as:
The only steady things amongst these are pull-ups and dips. Other than that I don't know what I'm going to do until I get to the gym.
I work nights so there may be times when I say today but it really meant yesterday and sometimes I'll say today and it really means today but not tomorrow. Hopefully this'll workout for me.
I'm only posting working sets until I get a template so bear with me if you take the time to read this crap.
Incline DB press:
5 reps x 100lbs
5 reps x 110lbs
+145 x 5 reps
+115 x 7 reps
hammer strength machine (decline)
10 x 180
8 x 200
10 x 20lbs
10 x 30lbs
some kind of cable chest pressing torture apparatus
drop set 1:
6x100, 5x80, 6x60, 8x40
drop set 2:
6x90, 6x70, 8x50, 12x30
At the end of this I felt good but I still feel like its too much volume. I'm trying to find the happy medium that I know exists somewhere. At any rate tomorrow (or today for you day people) is a day off. I'll evaluate my soreness and see.
Calories: probably around 3000 just because of MRP's. I'm still trying to learn how to eat at night.
weight: 195lbs. Its going back up but still down from a few weeks ago.

As far as 5'11" and 195lbs, I don't know the rest. No tape measure and I haven't checked my bf% in months.
Due to an unfortunate recent incident, all workouts for the remainder of the week will have to be put on hold, but I'll be back Monday doing my favorite: back.
Nice split HY its very similar to what I used to use. Worked well for me so I am sure youll have some success with it.

Finally got back in the gym. I skipped leg day. I'm trying to get my adductor back up to strength. I pulled it doing lunges. At any rate, today's workout:

one set of heavy BB shrugs
free motion shoulder press SS w/ calf machine shrugs

6x130, 5x100, 6x70, 8x40 SS w/ 10x60, 10x80, (30 sec rest), 10x100
**I don't say lbs. here because I don't think they really are just whatever the numbers on the machine plates are
reverse cable flyes SS w/ bent over reverse cable flyes
2x (10x50 SS w/ 10x20)
Some tricep work but nothing major. I'll give arms a day to themselves when I switch routines again in a month or so.
Complaints: I have yet to find a CD player that won't quit cutting off on me. If it gets the slightest bump(well maybe a little more) it cuts off. Piece of ****!! This is the 3rd one I've tried. I spending more money on damn CD players. Any recommendations?

Today was a nice rest day.
Went to see the Carolina Panthers play. Which I must say sucked a big one. So many screw ups and ****ty plays there at the end. They could have won the damn game if they hadn't screwed up. But "if 'ifs' and 'buts' were candy and nuts what a wonderful Christmas we'd have." Better luck next time.
Tomorrow's back day and I'm getting psyched for it. Its the best day of the week. That's why I have it on monday's. I'm thinking chins and powercleans tomorrow. Maybe some bent-over row if I'm feeling it after powercleans.
I'm still waiting to start posting my diet once I get into the routine of working nights. I've gotta start buying my stuff at the grocery store and making the day before. Spending too much money eating out and taking it with me.

10/28 Back day
Throughtout this entire workout I toss in some kind of chins besides the weighted SS with bentover rows. I do somewhere in the neighborhood or 60-70 chins over the course of the entire workout.
Bentover row SS w/ wide grip chins
6x225lbs. SS w/ 6x+55lbs
6x225lbs. SS w/ 4x+70lbs
hammer strength shrugs
2x (10x280lbs(wide) SS w/ 10x280lbs(narrow))
drop set [10x280, 10x230, 10x180, 10x90]
Some standing cable curls were tossed in just for good measure. Overall this workout sucked, but my back felt pretty good the next day so I must have done something right.

10/29 Chest day
First I have to say I hate workingout in the afternoon. Way too many damn people in the gym.

After that I was done. I felt I could have done lots more on bench but at that point my heart just wasn't into it. All the people around me were getting on my nerves and I just wanted to get the hell out.
This is where I completely suck. My legs need so much work.
Wide stance squats (parallel)
12x135 (6 each leg)
8x185 (4 each leg)
Seated donkey like calf raise thingy
6x295, 10 extra partial reps
Front ATF squats
Standing calf raises
6xfull stack (it says 15 wow!!)
This workout sucked. I'd pulled my adductor a while back and my legs still haven't gotten back up to where they used to be. I was going to try to do leg press but it hurt enough almost to make me start crying (I'm such a baby).
stuff that pissed me off
I walk in and there is some idiot sitting on seated leg press machine reading a magazine. As I'm warming up for about 15 minutes he is still there reading. WTF is he doing? Doesn't do a freakin thing but sit there and read. Go to the damn house if you want to read your damn Good Housekeeping.
So many freakin people on cell phones. This one freakin brat-ass idiot is during curls in the power rack. On top of that he is on the phone for over 30 minutes while standing in there. There was another squat rack at least but what the hell was he doing. Standing around, talking on the phone not doing a freakin thing, for 30 minutes. Noboby else really needed it but it the principle of the matter. Why doesn't anybody realize what the hell is going on?
It must have been because it was freakin halloween but the gym was just packed with morons and idiots. As I was leaving I say some guy doing what I guess he thought was lat pulldowns. Man, if I did 'em the way he was doing them my hams and back would be so sore the next day. I don't understand. I don't understand. That's it I'm done ranting. Its not helping. Please ignore me.
I need help with my legs. If anybody has any advice, I'd be very appreciative for any suggestions.

On my dips my elbows normally stay pretty close. They're not directly by my side but probably closer in than flaring out.

Thanks for the compliments Monstar. I'm working on getting up to 220-230 and then I'd like to try and really cut. I'm going to start really bulking in the next couple of days and try to keep it up through until March or April when I may decide to cut. Just have to see if I can get that heavy.
Looking pretty impressive there Homeyield. Sorry about the leg injury. It really sucks. My knees are kind of messed up so I always have to watch my leg workouts.
Same here HY---I am going to try and get up to around 225 this winter with my abs still visible. Hopefully my new training program will get me there, well see what happens.
I'm wanting to get big but I've really started concentrating more on strength. Hopefully the size will come with it too but its not my number one priority anymore. I read over that training program and it looks like fun. I may have to do some research and look into it later. I really want to get my squat up first before I start concentrating on size again.
Well I missed workingout today because some friends have come in for the weekend. So shoulders will have to wait until next week. I'm not as concerned about missing shoulders as I would be back or legs but it still feels weird not to workout.
All that aside tomorrow I'm going to see Tool and Meshuggah. Man, that should be a freakin awesome show. I missed Meshuggah when they were on the Ozzfest tour because the son-of-a-bitch didn't come through Charlotte. What a loser. Who cares, Tool and Meshuggah. Tool baby!!
