    Reverse curl substitute?

I love reverse curls, they have really made a huge difference in my firearms but my right elbow has been hurting when I do them. Is there something else I can substitute in that really hits the upper forearm?

    Try hammer curls.

I do those but don't seem to get as much out of them as reverse curls. I think I have a little tendinitis in my elbow so I am going to take it easy for a little while and then do some light weight reverse wrist curls once a week to slowly work them back in but focus on hammer curls as my main lift for that area.

Anyone had tendinitis in the elbow? I could use some advice on how to handle it. I don't think it's golfers/tennis elbow because the pain is in between the two knobs on my elbow and I can feel it in the tendon if that makes sense.

It does. I would avoid anything that aggravates it for a couple of weeks and then resume your wrist curls, but start with very light weight and high reps first. Gradually decrease the reps and increase the weight over the course of several weeks.

Thanks Chris, sounds like a plan. I seem to find something new to injure or tweak on a regular basis.
