The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I'm starting to feel pain in my knees and also in my glutes. Is there joints between each spinal disk? I'm beginning to think that my lower back injury is also a joint problem, possible? The pain only comes when I use heavy weigth and goes away after my workout. How do you cure joints?

you mean between vertebrae? no, there's no joints between them, they just stack one on top of the other with the spinal cord inside them....

    2 things...

Joint pain - glucosamine/chondroitin - you can probably get it in grocery store supp sections now, but i'm sure it's also wherever you get your other supps from

Low Back Pain - Chiropractor....you might have some vertebra subluxated and it's translating elsewhere...

yeah right? who cares about you and your problems....this all about Yates becoming super-poster...*lol*

    your welcome.

btw.....in my totally unprofessional opinion....the low back pain might actually be the root of the knee pain....if you get a chance see a chiropractor.

Sinep, I have recently stated to feel a incredible stiffness in my shoulder joints.
I have attributed it to a large increase in my strength because of the Olympic movements I perform.

One of many possibilities, I would venture to say that Tryskas assumption would be a good reason why you are suffering.

"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

I used to get a bad back from the shoes i wore:

I had a pair of Air max and one of the bubbles had popped so one trainer was different to the other. I used to get back pains all the time - especially after about 40 minutes in a car.

that's an excellent point too.....I have these 4 inch stack heels which I absolutely love, but they would make my back hurt as well.

not that any of you wear high-heeled shoes, i hope....but sinep, what kind of shoes do you train in? how old are they?

I also had trouble when I trained in shoes with a raised heel. I use flat Airwalks now, makes my stance strong, no back pain whatsoever.

so now the truth comes out.....which do you prefer, schweet....a stack, a wedge or a spike heel?

i find stacks are great for stability, but you can't beat the spike for sex appeal....

I used to train with no clothes on. I didn't need a weight belt, really. I'd just stack some 45's on my **** and weighted dips/chins were no problem.

Funny you should ask where I trained. I trained in a kindergarten gym. While there were kids in there. A couple kids thought it was funny. The cops sure didn't. I'll be out of prison in a couple months. *sigh*
