    Bad. They need rest, just like every other muscle. I'd say no more than twice a week

    Unnecessary, and probably counterproductive.
    Squats work better than supplements.

    What would be a wide variety? And no, your abs are a muscle, they need rest too.

    I find that abs can take a lot of abuse. I do them 3x/week, one cable crunch drop set. It's working well. I say do them less often, but hit them harder. Add resistance and make sure you're hitting the abs and not the hip flexors.

    Keep in mind that some people do nothing for their abs besides overheads, squats and deadlifts and still have massive abs. I, however, need the volume. Just find out what works for you.
