Workout abs every day, good/bad?
good, as long as you use a wide variety
Bad. They need rest, just like every other muscle. I'd say no more than twice a week
Weight: Not Big Enough
“Take things as they are. Punch when you have to punch. Kick when you have to kick.” — Bruce Lee
Unnecessary, and probably counterproductive.
Squats work better than supplements.
"You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei
"You're wrong, and I have a completely irrelevant pubmed abstract that may or may not say so." - Belial
I has a blog.
I has a facebook.
What would be a wide variety? And no, your abs are a muscle, they need rest too.good, as long as you use a wide variety
"I tried so hard and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter." - Linkin Park
not neccesary. I don't even work mine and they still look fine
I find that abs can take a lot of abuse. I do them 3x/week, one cable crunch drop set. It's working well. I say do them less often, but hit them harder. Add resistance and make sure you're hitting the abs and not the hip flexors.
Keep in mind that some people do nothing for their abs besides overheads, squats and deadlifts and still have massive abs. I, however, need the volume. Just find out what works for you.
