The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

My diet is pretty clean but I am very uncreative in the food department..

It pretty much consists of eggs, oats, tuna, chicken, pasta, potatoes, mayo, nuts, turkey, etc...

So what can I do to spice things up ?

I.e things that are 0 calories or so low it wouldn't make much of a difference. Herbs, sauces etc...

    Thanks in advance

Dry fry your chicken, then add it to your rice in a pan. Instead of using just water pop a chicken oxo cube in as well.

    Tastes quite nice

    Hulk,
For the oats try adding some Cinnamon, dash of nutmeg if you got it and a couple packs of artificial sweetner. That'll make it taste good.
As for the eggs I'm assuming you're talking about an egg white omelet...damn just try things man. I've used...Oregano, Italian Seasoning, Pepper, Salt, a little tomato sauce. Hell, if its green try it. (I smell the spice first thought) You could try dried red pepper or just add some Salsa. You can do all of these things with the chicken and tuna as well...(I'd skip the red pepper though). All of these will taste pretty good depending on your pallete of course. Hope this helps mate.

Any type of peppers (black, green, red, yellow, orange) will add a lot to any meal.

For the potatoes, I guess it depends on how you cook them, but try using a touch of garlic. Don't go over board with it!!

If you can use a little fat in your diet, add "i can't believe it's not butter" to your oats with some brown sugar. I did this and got down to 6% bf so it can't be that bad. If you want to go lower you're gonna need to drop both though.

Garlic powder and dill in egg whites with a dash of parm cheese

Manwich Sauce- low carb/low sugar- makes everything taste great. DO NOT USE Sloppy Joe formula the sugars are too hight.

Taragon- Great on chicken or egg whites

Deli Mustard- great to mix into tuna. Make sure when you are buying mustards that they do not have added sugars in them. Most deli versions don't. Read the labels.

    Cinnamon of course.

No Salt Substitute- this will also help to put a little extra potassium back in the diet.

I can't believe it's not butter spray- great soy based spray.

Soy Cream Cheese- made by Galaxy Foods- they have a website I think.

Healthy Choice Fat Free Cheese- great way to add protein and flavor and save your fat grams for peanut butter.

yesterday i was just about to prepare my meals for college, which is usually 2 cans tuna mixed with a bit of cream of mushroom soup and a little pasta. i opened the cupboard and discovered that there was no cream of mushroom! pooh!
as a alternative i was gonna mix it with mayo but, u guess it, no mayo!
what the hell was i gonna do now! it was 5:30am, i was completely broke and had to catch my bus in an hour. i searched though the cupboard and discovered a can of tomato sauce. i figured it'd probably taste like asss mixed with tuna but then again so does everything else!
to my surprise it tasted good! i couldn't beleive it!
i think i'm gonna start eating it regularly.

the lesson: tomatoes kill the taste of asss!

What I've started doing is adding a half scoop of vanilla whey powder to my oatmeal, plus some cinnamon. It changes the texture and flavor just enough to make it seem new.
When it comes to chicken, nothing beats my triple spice technique -seasoned salt (be careful with this one, sodium)cayenne pepper, and papirika. I have never gotten sick of that one.
I also just started cooking things a different way. Eating six hard boiled eggs definitely satisfies me differently than do six scrambled eggs or a six-egg omelette.

Have you ever branded your chicken? just heat some metal strips up to they are red in your flame of your cooker(hope you have gas)and place it across the chicken it adds quite a nice flavour.(though if your after total health benefits not to adviable).
Garlic can add flavour to anyhting.
I do not know if you take steroids, but gets some water and a flavouring and mix them together then inject your meet joints that you eat in various place. this add allows flavour to pass into the meat and keeps the meat more succalent after cooking. and gives you loads of flavour to experiment with. Who would have thought neddle clinics(pharmacy) could be abused in this way. Though the bigger the syringe the better so ask for the largest possible ie the 10ml as its easier to use. These methods are used to cure bacon etc so the solution gets into the centre much quicker than just soaking the meat in it for 24 hours.

yeah he's been pretty big for a while now. I saw him at an airport once and I was shocked to see how big he was in person. His upper body was pretty freakin huge with a seemingly low body fat%. This was back in August of 2003.

Uncle Dan's Ranch dressing mix, mixed in with no-fat yogurt makes a good tasting dip. Let it sit for a few hours. You can use half no-fat yogurt, half no-fat mayonnaise and it tastes better.
