    Sharp back pain........

    On the right side of my back along my spine about mid point there has been a sharp pain when I pull my my shoulders back like during a dead lift lock out. It feels like something is rolling over my spine and sticking me. I first noticed it a couple of weeks ago. I started a new job (which we are not busy) and i have been doing a lot of sitting and computer work. I can do all the pulling motions but can't do deads or any lock out movements. Anybody have anything similar to this or have any idea what I might have done? and my wife is already telling me to go see a doc.... but I hate them.. any help/info is appreciated.

    If continues or gets worse, I'd recommend you seeing a chiro or a pt. It could be a simple rib subluxation, they can cause nasty sharp pain like that, or it could be something worse, thus the need to get it checked IMO.

    yeah; sounds like a rib is out ... especially if it pinches when you take a deep breath

    most chiros can pop that back in for you lickety-split
