The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Biceps slowest to grow?

My bicep lifts are my slowest improvements. I only gained maybe only 5 pounds in two months in concentration curls. but I was talkin to someone else at the gym and he said his biceps improve slowly too. I was wondering if this is normal or should I switch up what im doing?

I do 3 sets e z bar curls and 3 sets concentration curls

I have the same problem as my sohh compadre

Well, maybe it has to do with the fact that I only work them out twice a week (and only do 1 type of exersize for it).

I thought doing my 500 pushups a day (4x a week) would make up for my absence in the gym.

because of the small amount of weight one lifts on bi's, the percentage increments are small in terms of plates. you could get 10% stronger which is a good accomplishment, but it might only be a 5er on each side. just pointing this out, it might not be obvious to some......

    think in percentages.

Try working tri's and brachialis before biceps to isolate them. Try this for one month, once a week and I bet you will gain 1/2 to 1 inch on your cold measurments

And how exactly would working triceps before biceps isolate the biceps?

my first set I try to max with the heaviest weight I can get, so for the first set i probably do like 3 or 4. After that I go between 6 and 8.

as far as eating goes, I think im fine, because everything else is going great

Whan the triceps and the brachialis are worn down the workload is put on the biceps. Rather than question the workout why not try it.

Im just curious as to how pre-exhasting your triceps is going to put more work on the biceps during barbell curls.

Can you explain this to me?
