I think your mind is made up about the routine, so I'll wish you luck and follow along.

My mind is pretty much made up based on what I have read at this point. I looked up Westside SF and checked it out just to see what I thought. I just dont find that program AT ALL appealing to me, I am not sure why. I think that Ill get much better results without it somehow. I am not sure exactly WHY I feel this way, but its just a personal opninion.

Woah, the posts are coming thick and fast, having a hard time keeping up

good reading nonetheless, i think you are entitled to have your opinion on your routine as its yours. Westside has got alot of appealing factors but i dont think its for me, and it seems not you. Im not doubting its qualities but other styles seem to suit me better.

good luck with the routine bro
The only limits are the one's you place on yourself...

Mike, go with your gut feeling and stay strict to your plan. Whatever is working for is what you need to do. Shocking muscles, changing your routine constantly, or staying with what you got, its gotta work for you and if the feeling is wrong then don't do it.

    Thanks BR & GG.

I am jumping on the Westside bandwagon, so this journal will be locked shortly.

I have to ask, what changed your mind so drastically in 2.5 hours?

I don't think using some Westside principles (which you were about to do anyway) at all qualifies what you're doing as powerlifting Westside style. It's more that you're adopting a few of their concepts to fit the style of training you prefer.

I'm anxious to see the new journal and routine ...

You've got more journals than Starbucks as it is. Is there any reason you can't use this journal to keep track, instead of adding yet another one?

I talked to Hulk about it PowerMan, just to make sure that it was okay. The only reason that I am creating a new journal is because of the drastic switch from a bodybuilding style routine to a Westside routine. He is locking this journal up shortly.

I enjoyed reading your journal, i come here everyday to read it because it gives me inspiration in my own workouts as well. But you seriously have to accept it as part of your daily life, not your WHOLE life. You will do it for your entire life, will you worry about it and stress it every 2 hours like you do now?
