The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Who do you want in the NFL playoffs?

I'm watching the Rams-Eagles game. Looking at the Rams, I definitely DON'T want them in the playoffs. Here's the playoff picture, going into this week: playoff contenders

    Here's my wish list:

AFC- just like the standings show
    Miami
    Indy
    Denver
    Pittsburgh
    ----
    San Diego
    Oakland

    NFC
    Tampa
    Green Bay
    Philly
    San Francisco
    ---
    Atlanta
    Giants (not St Louis)

Well, my team is the Colts and they look like they are in good shape right now. It's too bad the Giants blew it against the Titans today, or the Colts would have been 2 games up in the division. Other than that, I root for teams with former Purdue players in key positions. Right now that would be Tampa Bay (Mike Alstott), San Diego (Drew Brees), and Oakland (Rod Woodson) It looks like all the teams I listed should make the playoffs.

Also: Eagles, Bucs, Falcons and Broncos.

I'm sure there are more, just trying to think of what I feel are the more exciting teams.

Is it just me, or is calling the Bucs an exciting team a little bit strange?

I love the Bucs...I wouldn't call their Offense exciting but their defense certainly is.

Watching Tampa Bay makes my pelvis bleed. Some of their opponents have had similar experiences lately.

Yeah why can't the Bucs play fair like the Pack?

Except for some of the things Michael Vick has done, I'll take a great defensive game over a shoot-out any day. That's what's exciting to me. That's the way the Pat's did it last year, and it's the way their going to have to do it again if they want to go anywhere. As is always stated and was 100% true for the Pats last year, "Offense wins games, defense wins championships."

"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"
