    2" diam.

    I am pretty sure the bar is 2" diameter at the ends. . .
    I used to work out in my basement and I made 1 and .5 lb sleeves from 2.5 in galvanized pipe. worked great. they just slide on. . .my dad had the tools to cut it and I weighed them on an electronic scale and shaved off the ends a bit at a time til they were right on. .

    nice, your quite the handy man

    Only thing ive made, is a home made wrist roller, its ace my forearms have beefed up significantly
    The only limits are the one's you place on yourself...

    THanks bro, it was not all that hard really and if you went to a plumbing supply store they would probably cut it for you. then all you need is a pretty big file to get the weigth right.
    wrist rollers are great for that super full arm pump. .
