Add 10% to you bench in 10 weeks?

I'll save some of you the trouble of reading. I read about this in FLEX. Anyway, they have a huge editorial based on a system that they claim will add up to 10% onto your bench strength. From what I've read so far, it seems to be basically formed around a high volume routine for 10 weeks. I was wondering if any of you have read that article and what your thoughts are on the subject. The reason? I was benching 315lbs for 4 reps, but I had to take off about 3 or 4 weeks for some personal business, and since then my bench press has been down by about 30lbs. I've been back at it now for about a month, and I was hoping for my strength to be back up to what it was before the hiatus.

With out a link or cut and pasting the article kind of shot in the dark. I kind of beleive in muslce memory. No scientific basis. Your bench #s will probably be back soon.

You read about it in FLEX? Then it's likely garbage. But I'm a fair-minded person. Post the workout and let us judge. FLEX is about the last resource you should be trusting by the way. It may be entertaining to read, but as far as advice goes, it's mostly junk.

Yeah, I picked it up for the pics of Mr. Olympia, but since I've been struggling on chest, I thought I might give it a shot. I doubt that article's online yet, but I'll see if I can find it.
