    Cottage cheese and oatmeal..

    how you guys prepare and eat it? Any good ideas for new ways to cosume these vital foodsources?

    Ahhh two of my favorites. I eat about 1 1/2 -2 cups of (dry)oatmeal then mix it whit the same amount of water(1 1/2cups or 2 cups) put it in the microwave for 3 min. Then add a tablespoon of brownsugar and a choclate protien shake.

    As for cottage cheese, if i'm in the right mood I can eat eat a whol large container in one sitting. Me... I like it plain but alot of people lix mixing fruit with it such as peaches. Hope this helps

    I don't usually add protein powder to my oatmeal although I do know of some people that do.

    But with cottage cheese I like to mix in some milk protien isolate (I get it from protein factory, with chocolate flavoring and sweetened with Splenda) and mix it with the cottage cheese and water. Coupled with some healthy fats you've got a good night time meal to stave off catabolism.

    Personally I like my cottage cheese with a little fruit in it. I've heard that blueberries mixed up in CC tastes good, although I can't say I've tried this yet.

    I sometimes mix cottage cheese with sugar free jello and I mix my oatmeal with natty pb.

    thx for the new ideas Will have to try some of'em..have been eating the cottage cheese plain and tried it on some bread slices but neither really was my fav. Maybe the fruit will make it a little better!

    And the oats, used to eat it with plain milk, will try with pb for once. Hopefully they have that in the stores here in norway! If I can't find it my friends in WA will be pissed cuz that'll make them my main pb source, have them send me 50 boxes at a time

    i put natty pb, raisins and some splenda in my oats usually
