    DOMS following Leg-Day

    Question for the members.

On which day do you experience the most muscle soreness following a leg workout?
    Cortisol is the enemy.

Remember, it is not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game.

I'll start since it's my poll. I voted for two days after legs.

For me it used to be 2 days after. Sometimes barely anything the day after. I always figured the 2nd day cause you don't let them rest the first. But for the last 3 months its been the day after.

For me DOMS usually start around 24 hours after the workout (for any body part, not just legs) and it gets at its worst around 36 hours after the workout. But for the last couple of weeks I've been working out at night and going to bed about half hour to one hour after I'm done and DOMS have been reduced significantly, like today, I was expecting that my legs were going to be real sore after Tuesday's workout, but soreness is minimal.

Yes. The lack of movement during sleep really lets DOMS kick in for me.

My quads feel it immediately. My hamstrings kick in after about 24 hours and usually last another day after that.

Morning after. It usually continues for a day or two.
