    Body fat loss

    Hey everyone,
    I was wondering how I should go about losing some body fat before spring break! (~6 weeks)
    I just want some abs... My bodyfat is about 12% right now (I'm 5'9", 185). I was planning on running during the AM before breakfast for 20 mins or so, then lifting in the afternoon. Would that be too much?
    I'll keep a strict diet as well... although I usually just have 3 meals a day, including a post workout shake and creatine.
    Also, would taking creatine hinder my bodyfat-loss efforts?

    Welcome NDBeast.

    From what you've said you should do fine, provided you are burning more calories than you are taking in and your strength training routine is sound. Don't lift everyday. Consider cutting your calories into one or two more meals if you can. Creatine shouldn't hinder your bodyfat loss efforts. You may think it is though because you may not lose, or in fact even gain, weight because of the creatine. But that weight will not be fat.

    Try the diet discussed in that link. I have been using it for 2.5 weeks now and have had good results. Lost about 4lbs so far. It is designed so you do not lose LBM while you slim down.

    Read the article, good, nothing shocking. I agree with eating more carbs on wo days, or in accordance with the day. 1 sensible cheat day won't kill you, keep you on track, at the worst set you back 1 day.

    You are just step away from abs at 12% just be careful not to lose much muscle while doing it. You should be able to see your abs at 11%.

    I agree. There's such a small layer of fat, which is so annoying. It's harder to lose fat if you don't have much to lose...

    NDBeast why dont you get some clen or the popular ECA stack, but judging by your BF percentage clen would cut you up quick!

    To get good at most things takes 2-4 years i.e BodyBuilding, Martial Arts, Musical Instrements ect.

    huh , you see your abs at 11% only ????

    im like 21% and see mine , there not ripped but i see the 6 large blocks comming trough slightly

    i've still got exessive skin wich hold fat.

    when i lean a bit backward , my abs are showing pretty well

    would i had a digital camera , so i could post it , nor have i a scanner , so i could proof it :/

    I've heard 10%, thats not much differant then 11.
    Davy, you can see your abs at 21% Are you sure on the measurements?

    I ran this morning before breakfast, using 2 minute intervals of jogging and 1 minute intervals of running, for 20 minutes total on a treadmill (It's too cold to run outside here).
    Too bad I left my digital camera at home, or I could post some progress pics.

    ND Beast nah Clen Aint a Steriod
    It raises the temp in the body slightyly therby burning off fat, oh and is best when users "have little fat to burn off" Otherwise ECA is best.

    I would go for the clen, Its anabolic properties are none. Fatburning 100%
    Are you using ECA at the moment?

    Buff,
    I'm not taking ECA right now. I'm just trying to eat extra lean (that testosterone.net diet) and do HIIT in the AM.
    I took Hydroxycut last summer and it didn't do jack, except for keep me up at night.

    I know the feeling, it's like trying to carve out the abs and chest is the hardest part
