    Prevent getting sick!!!

    I'm going on a big trip this Thursday and I'm feeling a tad bit ill now. I have a feeling that I'm going to get sick just before my trip because my immune system seems down. Is there any thing I can do to prevent getting sick?

    green tea, zinc, vit C, echinachea. combo seems to stop me from getting ill when i feel something coming on

    also try working out as long as you dont have a fever yet.

    Glutomine (or however you spell it) helps the immune system. I have been using it daily for about 4 years now. I think it would help prevent future illness. (IMHO)
    If at first you don't succeed, take 5 lbs. off and try again.

    I know this topic sounds stupid... But I've gotten really sick before two trips and had to not go on them. And this is within 12 months. I have a tendency to get real sick. I've been hospitalized 3 times for high fevers in my 18 years..

    Do you think i go to the doc he will just say the routine crap...Over the counter stuff?

    Whey Protein works for me

    Since i started on it nearly 9months ago, i have yet to feel ill or down

    I wish it did the same for injuries
    The only limits are the one's you place on yourself...

    LMAO @ Delphi...you forgot #4:

    Don't sh*t where you eat. As crude as that sounds...you'd be surprised at how many outbreaks of enteric pathogens start off that way...esp. bad with parasites.
