My boyfriend trains four times a week and has done for years, recently he has started to reach some og his goals and is really enjoying the gym at the moment However, his doctor has recently diagnosed him with high blood pressure and says he should give up trainning. Is there anything he can do that would help his blood pressure, but let him carry on training.
Change of diet or prescription drugs. Do you know the cause of his high blood pressure?
They don't seem to have found a cause. He only reason he went to see his doctor was he began suffering with headaches. He has tried changing his lifestyle, he gave up smoking and cut alcohol to a minimum, but nothing seems to be helping. He is very wary about the prescription they have given him as it could cause liver problems.
You boyfriendís doctor is in a better position to make a diagnosis versus people over the Internet.
Does use steroids? Is he stressed out all the time?
He is still under his doctor and receiving treatment, but he is looking for things that can help him keep it down so that he can stay in the gym. He is really looking ideas to help reduce it rather than a diagnosis.
