The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Hey All, new member here

    Hey guys, I'm new to the board so I thought I'd make a bit of an intro. I am a 20 yr old college student and I have been lifting for about 2 years give or take. I entered college as a 140 lb weakling at 6'0" and I am currently 210 lbs. I have bounced back and fourth between wanting to be a bodybuilder and a powerlifter so I describe myself as a powerlifter with heavy bodybuilding ambitions. This doesnt always work out so well though because these are two radically different lifestyles. I decided on this site because I am lookin a little flabby recently and who better to talk to than bodybuilders, the aesthetic masters! Im worried that I'm starting to gain too much bodyfat although I am not huge by any means. I will post a question in the diet section about all of that though. It's been a while since I've had a regular forum to post on ever since my favorite forum (The Strength and Size Forum moderated by Casey Butt) up and dissappeared. So maybe I can finally call a forum home again. I look forward to meeting you guys.

    -Justin

    Hey justin!
    If figureskating was easy they'd call it hockey. me
    If it's important they'll call back. me

    The question isn't who is going to let me;
    its who is going to stop me.
    Ayn Rand

    And so it begins,
    My eyes wide, yet I see only darkness.
    The world is mine, yet it crumbles with my touch.
    I can touch the stars with my thoughts,
    But the simplest of pleasures denied.
    All things must end they say;
    to end before beginning?
    Tis the sadest loss of all.
