Keep eating well. Come back and hit it hard. I've never had much trouble getting back up to speed after an illness.

Just make sure you are feeding yourself the right stuff and you'll be OK.

That's the good thing about muscle memory. You can pretty easily come back from and illness. Just make sure you stay hydrated as much as possible and eat as good as you can while sick. When you are better, it won't take long to be where you were before.

know what you mean man, I just got over a six day sickness, really sucked. I think I may give myself one more day rest, then hit the gyms hard tomorrow.

Of course, I'll probably end up going later this afternoon knowing myself.

i know what you mean, I got a bad viral sickness and then my wisdom teeth broke my gums. That and the sickness caused a horrible complication (necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis from bacteria imbalanc) and yes I brushed.. I just had bad bad luck. Ive lost 15 pounds and 2 weeks of college

You want to talk about a let down? Try just starting out westside and then going out snowboarding (first time ever) and bruising your tailbone. You ever tried squatting with a bruised tailbone? It ain't pleasant. I can't even handle the weight for my speed squats, let alone my max effort. Feels like someone has grabbed ahold of the bone and is trying to pull it out if I try.

Tailbone bruises are a bitch, I was snowboarding when I did that also. I was trying to do 7s off the side of this one table and I lost control in the air and landed on what seemed to be my back but the first thing to hit was actually my tailbone on a huge iceball...hurt like hell to even sit. About the eatting, trying to eat healthy but seems all my body is accepting is top raman and toast...

yep, I know what bruised tailbones feel like. Did that to mine a couple years back when I screwed up on a half-pipe.

Don't think it was too serious. Was able to do max effort squats yesterday (week and a bit of time).. was down 30 pounds, but that's mostly because there was one painful spot to get over (near the bottom of course.. so just get the weight move and pushing good and I hit there) and I think I mentally talked myself out of it. Should be good next week I'm thinking.
