    My first time deadlifting

This is so noob of me... but I thought I would post anyways.

My first time deadlifting the other night, I feel fantastic (read: sore) 2-3 days later.

Truly awesome... I feel like a noob typing this out, but man, it feels frickin' fantastic... I love it, I've had some back strength problems and didn't realize that this might be the key to answer it all.

I did 4-5 sets about 175 lbs of around 8 since it was my first time. , light, i know, but it felt great.

Just had to post it somwhere.

I know what you mean, WSA. I heart deadlifts. I heart them good.
Now that the deadlift and I are over the 'honeymoon' stage of our relationship, we're ready to move on to a more permanent and stable love. Like the brotherhood between ninjas and hippos. The deadlift will guide my thoughtfully to the gains I want to see.

    Good job you peasant.

You will soon learn, there is nothing more satisfying than hitting a PR on deads, just as there is nothing more disappointing than missing a PR on deads. Missing a max attempt will ruin an entire week for me.

Deads are awesome and are my favorite exercise by a long shot. They look an impressive lift when performed heavy also. I agree with LP, hitting a pr on deads is a special thing!
