    new PB on bench, squat, deadlift

    I maxed out this week since I'm just about to start my cutting diet. Lifts were ok, not as good as they should have been though:

    Bench:440
    Deadlift: 545 (missed 565)
    Squat: 585 , got 600 but was about an inch shy of parallel

    I find it odd that my squat is higher than my dl.... o well.
    Big? Not really. I'm 5'7" 196 lbs.
    Strong? Like a bull!

    Bodyfat currently at : dropping
    Personal Records:
    Bench - 440 (raw)
    Squat - 600 (belt & wraps)
    Deads- 585 (belt)

    Pretty sweet dude! Your bench is the same as my dl before I did my back in! Man wheres a jealousy smiley when you need one.

    Anyway props to you, keep it up and lets see that bench get above 500!

    damn bench is 400 and your 21 or around there right? just wait till your 30 that ****s gonna be 600
    my squat is much bigger than my dl too.. i toss it off to a pussgrip

    lol to mrwebb. I been down that road already so I think I've earned some respect here.

    Thanks to everybody for the comments. I was hoping to be able to do more, but o well. There's always next year....

    good job man! kook, ur pretty short tho? aint u like 5'5...and supirman, ur only 5'7......i mean u guys rnt both short short, but that might just explain (possibly) why your squat is more than your DL...i could be wrong, but i've read many times that taller ppl have it easier at DL but shorter ppl got it better at squat? correct me if i'm wrong....

    I don't know how much truth there is to the deadlift dilemma with short guys and deadlifting. I think it's just more that I don't work it as hard and don't care about it as much. I only dead lift usually once every other week whereas I squat every wednesday. And I deadlift alone because nobody else is hardcore enough to do it.

    sin- Only aids were a belt and knee wraps on squat, belt on deadlift, and nothing at all on bench. If I were to suit up, I'd be well over a 1700lb total I'd imagine.

    I was just thinking... if I were all suited up, my total should be very near to 1800. I think this would be pretty good at 220 lbs

    With squats you get a stretch reflex, if you will. And some people are just better built to squat.

    your get 1800, if not now then in a couple of months,

    good lifting. if your still here in a couple of years i hate to see what you can lift then.
    my exprience - joined gym 10 years ago, 6 1/2 years hard weight training exprience.
